I am currently working at Resolution Counseling Center, a private mental health practice in Jersey City, NJ. At RCC, my role transitioned from psychotherapist, to site director, where I manage our Family Wellness Support Center and Queer, I: Therapy Center. In 2012, I began my first career as an educator and developed a passion for interacting with children and families. I then obtained my Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, in New York City. As a social worker, I counseled families who had children receiving medical care in the pediatric cardiology ward at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and provided support to children and families in both elementary and high school as a school social worker. After giving birth to my two children, I understood the need for perinatal support. Expecting a baby, going through pregnancy, giving birth or attending a birth are all exhilarating and wondrous stages of life. And once babies make their big entrance, the world becomes a new reality. Raising children is rewarding and demanding. All parents need support and a safe space to discuss their new roles and challenges. I approach my practice with love and patience, and an openness for all experiences.
I am licensed in both New York and New Jersey and can provide services to clients who currently reside in either of those two states.
I can provide services in both English and French.
Personalized Support and Guidance
I implement various psychotherapy modalities to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings, gaining insights into their new life. Since the beginning of my practice, I have provided clients in the greater New York City area a wide range of mental health services. I use the Gottman Method for couple's work and am trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy for trauma work. From small scale circumstances, to traumatic experiences - my services are personalized to suit everyone’s needs.
